Mr. Marco is a Partner in the firm and manager of the firm’s labor law department. He also serves as General Counsel to the International Association of Bridge, Structural, Ornamental, and Reinforcing Iron Workers. Mr. Marco also represents numerous union employee benefit plans and has expertise in the areas of fiduciary responsibility, ERISA compliance, and employee benefit law.
Mr. Marco has pursued employers for successor liability, alter-ego liability, audit compliance, and enforced ERISA obligations throughout the bankruptcy process as well. Mr. Marco has also defended trust funds in plan design and interpretation cases brought by participants who thought they were wrongfully denied benefits. Mr. Marco has represented trust fund clients through complex mergers and reorganizations.
Mr. Marco has lectured across the country on the subjects of Labor law and employee benefits, and has been published by the International Foundation of Employee Benefits. He graduated cum laude from Marquette University and received his Juris Doctorate degree from the Cornell University Law School.
