Mr. Marco is a Partner in the firm and manager of the firm’s labor law department. He graduated cum laude from Marquette University and received his Juris Doctorate degree from the Cornell University Law School. Mr. Marco is an experienced labor lawyer who successfully represents labor unions and ERISA Trust Funds in a variety of issues affecting employee benefits.

He has pursued employers for successor liability, alter-ego liability, audit compliance, and enforced ERISA obligations throughout the bankruptcy process as well. Mr. Marco has also defended trust funds in plan design and interpretation cases brought by participants who thought they were wrongfully denied benefits. Mr. Marco has also represented trust fund clients through complex mergers and reorganizations.

Mr. Marco has lectured and written extensively in Labor law and ERISA and has been published by the International Foundation of Employee Benefits. Mr. Marco is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association and the Chicago Bar Association.
