Mr. Sullivan is a skilled litigator with a proven track record of successfully representing various clients in complex civil matters. He concentrates his practice on representing union and ERISA multiemployer pension and welfare funds in fiduciary duty and benefits litigation in federal court. Mr. Sullivan also counsels ERISA multiemployer pension and welfare funds regarding plan interpretation issues and fiduciary obligations.
Before joining GSKH, Mr. Sullivan developed his litigation skills at two well-respected insurance defense firms in Chicago. He gained experience representing professionals in various industries against malpractice claims, including lawyers, engineers, architects, contractors, and structural/design engineers. Moreover, Mr. Sullivan has represented community hospitals, long-term care facilities, physicians, and nurses against medical malpractice claims. This experience has taught Mr. Sullivan that the most effective way to serve his clients is through early fact investigation and analysis, which enable him to provide cost-effective results that allow clients to evaluate the bottom line of a case in the early stages of litigation.
Mr. Sullivan is a proud alumnus of DePaul University College of Law and the University of Iowa. You can often find him bemoaning the lack of offense from his beloved Iowa Hawkeyes football team when not working.
